Multiwave Ultrasonic machine

Kemet offer multistage, fully enclosed, environmentally friendly, highly effective vacuum solvent cleaning systems for use with Hydrocarbon, Modified Alcohols or Chlorinated Solvents to complement their aqueous ultrasonic cleaning systems. The continuous vacuum operation eliminates air pockets to provide deeper cleaning in recesses, blind holes and better removal of swarfs, chips, emulsions, oil and other solids.

Advantages

  • Excellent for removing oil and grease
  • Can be more effective than aqueous ultrasonic cleaning (especially on small parts)
  • No oxidation problems
  • One chemical, so no mixing involved
  • Long life when used with particle filters and distiller

All Kemet Si ultrasonic cleaners now have an enhanced touchpad. Advantages include:-

  • 7 day timer, including pre-heating
  • 3 stored programs for cleaning
  • Temperature limit (password protected)
  • Temperature interlock (Cleaning only starts after required temperature is reached)

Kemet now offer the multiwave range of ultrasonic cleaners, incorporating 3 different ultrasonic frequencies (low, medium and high). The PLC allows you to program the ultrasonic frequency, power level and treatment time, allowing greater component cleaning and repeatability. Programs can be saved for future use.

Versa+ ultrasonic tanks Versa+ ultrasonic tanks

On Automatic Basket Transport cleaning systems using the Si40 ultrasonic cleaners or Si80 ultrasonic cleaners, length can become very long using several stages.
The new Versa+ system overcomes this problem by turning the tanks through 90 degrees to make a more compact unit. This design lends itself much better to Auto systems . Available in 40 litre and 80 litres. Individual Versa+ ultrasonic tanks are also available. Further details on Versa+ ultrasonic cleaning systems can be downloaded here or viewed here.

Meet us at MACH 2008 (NEC, Birmingham, UK: 21-25 April 2008 at Hall 4, Stand 4411). We will be launching our new range of  metallographic machines and accessories. We now offer Geological cutting and grinding machines for thin sectioning. We will also demonstrate our extensive ultrasonic cleaning programme. Kemet now offers 3 purpose-built Technical Centres where customers can view demonstrations, undergo product training and learn about all aspects of Precision Surface Finishing.

The NEW Flat Lapping Technical Centre is equipped with 10 Kemet Flat Lapping and Polishing Machines and the widest range of Lapping Systems allowing a fast turn-round of customers' samples. Training Courses are available throughout the year.

The NEW Cleaning Technical Centre is also fully equipped for demonstration and training. More than 10 Cleaners are available at any time. These range from the small Laboratory Cleaners through to the latest large Mould Cleaning Systems.

The NEW Tooling Technical Centre is now complete and equipped with the very latest in Power Hand Tools from leading manufacturers such as NSK and Diprofil.
