Semi industrial Ultrasonic Cleaners

Kemet semi-industrial (Si model) ultrasonic cleaning tanks are used as single-stage bench top appliances or as part of a fully integrated modular cleaning system. They are designed for demanding production and maintenance cleaning. The Si range consists of standard sizes including options for building a multistage process.

Si ultrasonic cleaners are constructed from stainless steel are designed for heavy duty operation. Cleaner tank volumes range from 25 litres (Si-25), 40 Litres (Si-40), 80 litres (Si-80), 120 Litres (Si-120) and 160 litres (Si-160).

Wash Tanks

The Si models include these characteristics:-

• Powerful ultrasonics for precision cleaning
• Booster & Sweep function (Si80, Si120, Si160)
• Welded construction ensuring equal material thickness for long service life
• Full width overflow weir with drain valve for surface skimming or overflow cascading
• Fill and drain valves
• Tank material made of stainless steel AISI316 - resistant to acids
• Level sensor for protection of heating elements and ultrasonics against dry run
• Electronic control panel for monitoring and storing of wash time and temperature
• Double lid with thermal and acoustic insulation

Rinse Tanks

The picture shows a rinse tank with Jet Turbulation. The Si model rinse tanks are used for removing detergent residues from cleaned parts. Spotless rinsing results are achieved with demineralised water.

Rinse tanks are available in 25 litres (Si-25r), 40 litres (Si-40r), 80 litres (Si-80r), 120 litres (Si-120r) and 160 litre (Si-160r) models.

Hot Air Dryer

The picture shows an Si-40 ultrasonic cleaning tank and Si-40dr hot air dryer (right) mounted on a stainless steel stand. This solvent free bench top cleaning system is just one example of the modular flexible range available.
The Si40dr dryer is constructed from stainless steel with thermal insulation, thermostatic temperature control (80C maximum), hot air re-circulating oven design and incorporates a safety thermostat.

Hot air dryers are available in 40 Litre (Si-40dr) and 80 Litre (Si-80dr) models.

Filtration

The Si model has options to help you reach the required cleanliness level and to cut operating costs. The closed loop filtration and oil removal options increase the life of the wash and rinse liquids whilst proving more consistent cleaning results.

Free oil can be removed from the wash liquid by the storage tank with an oil separation system. A spray bar enables effective surface skimming to the overflow weir.

Dewatering tanks

Dewatering or hot passivation as the final stage will remove any remaining moisture and will provide a protective film against corrosion. Normally required if the component / injection mould is going into storage for a period of time.

Kemet recommend the use of M99 dewatering fluid in the dewatering tanks.

Dewatering tanks are available in 25 litre (Si-25dw), 40 Litre (Si-40dw), 80 Litre (Si-80dw), 120 Litre (Si-120dw) and 160 Litre (Si-160dw) models.
